Effective use of Quarantine time


The Corona virus spread very fast due to globalized world negatively effecting  every country through lockdowns ,Restrictions on travelling ,lowering industrial production and hence lowering the exports . The governments lockdowned their major cities and emphasized to stay at home and maintain social distance in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 . Lockdowns and closure of educational institutions  have provided plenty of time to students ,especially instead of feeling helpless, sorry for the current state of affairs this time can be used effectively to improve the existing skills and acquire new skills and prevent the stress and depression caused by over use of over use of social media and other time wasting activities. Generally, the quarantine time is spent on social media or having long hours of sleep but this time can be used in a beneficial and fruit full way
 Reading books, digests, articles relevant to interested area according to the individual ,books are one of the best sources of information can enhance our understanding about the world, improve our communication skills and change our perspective in the way of creating a better world. The subject in which the degree is pursued must be focused and relevant books should be read to gain deep understanding of the subject.

Think about things you wanted to do, but you couldn’t due to lack of time and it can be learning how to write , learning a new language, gardening skills etc. It is the best time to do the desired activities .This time can be utilized to do the online courses available on the websites like coursera, edx , and khan academy etc. and watching online lectures regarding own discipline.

Over use of social media limits an individual to the four walls of the room, effecting him Psychologically and physically leading us to anxiety, stress or depression because social media spreads unathentic news. That is why reducing screen is necessary to prevent stress ,anxiety or depression and follow the trusted and the authentic sources to be informed regarding the current affairs.
 Physical exercise is essential to live stress free life,many physical exercises do not require gym equipment can be done at home by learning through Youtube videos and increasing  interaction with family members with who we share our experiences, memories and improve our relationship which is required to have the successful life.
Learn the lessons from the quarantine time that we can live a simple life without spending on the money on the junk foods, which are extremely dangerous to the health, we can live without shopping and visiting shopping malls. Learn the lesson to modify our habits because these habits have compounding effect on our future.
